North Lakes Milestone – Arterial Road Opens!!

Mayor Allan Sutherland will be cutting the ribbon as he officially opens the North South Arterial Road tomorrow morning.

Also in attendance will be councillor Julie Greer, Stockland representatives and members of the contracting teams for the ceremony which will be taking place on the Copeland Drive Bridges at 10am.

Stockland Regional Manager David Laner said the much-anticipated official opening of the five kilometre road, which had been completed in stages over six years, was exciting news for North Lakes residents and the wider community.

Moreton Bay Regional Council Mayor Allan Sutherland said the North South Arterial Road was a welcome addition to the booming North Lakes community. “Local residents have been eagerly awaiting the completion of this important transport route for some time,” Mayor Sutherland said.
