The Moreton Bay City is divided into twelve Council divisions, each represented by an elected councillor.
Councillors advocate for the interests and needs of their local communities and you are encouraged to engage with them on local issues, which the councillors strive to address through local projects, infrastructure and environmental improvements, and community engagement initiatives.

Division 8: Division 8 covers the northern suburbs of Pine Rivers, including Strathpine, Bray Park, and parts of Lawnton. It is a well-established area with extensive commercial and recreational facilities.
Division 9: This division encompasses the suburbs of Petrie, Kallangur, and Murrumba Downs. It is a rapidly developing area with significant infrastructure projects, including the new University of the Sunshine Coast campus in Petrie.
Division 10: Division 10 includes the areas of Dakabin, Griffin, and parts of Kallangur and Mango Hill. It is characterized by rapid urban development, new residential estates, and growing community amenities.
Division 11: This division covers the semi-rural and rural areas to the west of Pine Rivers, including Dayboro, Samford Valley, and parts of Mount Mee. It is known for its scenic landscapes, equestrian activities, and small-town charm.
Division 12: Division 12 encompasses the suburbs of Albany Creek, Eatons Hill, and Cashmere in the southern part of the Moreton Bay region. It is a well-established residential area with a strong sense of community and extensive parks and recreational facilities.
