Imagine working in a declared disaster zone and meeting a 10-year-old boy who had walked most of the day to get clean water.

Imagine hugging a stranger close to you as she broke down because her family was killed in an earthquake days before.

Helen-Zahos-humanitarian-inspiresHumanitarian, Emergency Nurse and Paramedic Helen Zahos doesn’t have to imagine as she has been in these exact situations as a volunteer medical responder to disasters around the world.

Helen has cared for some of the world’s most vulnerable people and she will be sharing her insight and passion with BPW members and guests on Friday June 28 when Business and Professional Women North Lakes presents An Evening with Helen Zahos.
