Construction begins on this exciting, new venture which is set to open in March 2017.

After nine months of exploring multiple sites across the North Lakes regions, a contract was placed on the parcel of land at 36-42 Flinders Parade in January 2015, subject to the Club receiving approvals for their development application and liquor and gaming licenses.

In December 2015, the Queensland Office of Liquor, Gaming & Racing approved the Club’s liquor and gaming license, triggering settlement on the land with Stockland just a few days later.

On Tuesday 17th May 2016, Queensland Treasurer Hon. Curtis Pitt officially launched construction on the North Lakes Sports Club. The Treasurer joined officials from the Caboolture Sports Club Limited, the group behind the establishment of the Club.

Construction is expected to take 10 months. Mayor Allan Sutherland said the project would create about 80 jobs during construction and 100 ongoing hospitality jobs.
