North Lakes Library

The library offers a wide range of programs and events, including computer classes for beginners, regular play time and rhyme time sessions for pre-schoolers.

There are a wide range of DVDs, graphic novels, eBooks, talking books and toys covering a wide range of choices for all ages and lifestyles available to borrow or download for free.

Events

Some regular library events are listed on our website, such as Computers For Beginners, Baby Rhyme Time, Playtime Sessions.

Internet connected computers are available for public use.

These computers have Windows 7 and Microsoft Office 2013.

Internet Access Fee

Per 30 minutes or part thereof $1.50

Bookings

Computer bookings can be made in person or by phoning the library. You will need to provide your library card number or name and phone number. On busy days it may be necessary to wait. Maximum booking lengths may apply.
Each library has at least one Express computer, which may be used for a maximum of one 15 minute session per day, and may not be booked in advance. There is no charge to use the Express computers.
To protect your privacy when your session ends, all data is wiped.
You may save data to your own device; rewritable CDs and USB memory drives are available to purchase at the library.

Colour and black and white printing and copying are available at all of our libraries.

Scanning is free.

Computer Training Room for hire.

Seating capacity – 10 people which can be increased to 20 if second room is combined.

Availability – 7 days a week, during library hours.
