Jeans for Genes Turns 25

25-years-jeans-4-genesJeans for Genes is the iconic fundraising campaign of the Children’s Medical Research Institute.

Jeans for Genes was established in 1994 to fund revolutionary research that helps diagnose, understand, and find cures or treatments for conditions affecting kids, including genetic diseases, cancer, and epilepsy.

1 in 20 kids are born with a genetic disease or birth defect. You likely know and care about someone affected.

Genetic diseases are one of the leading causes of death in kids under four and the main cause of ongoing hospitalisation. To fight this, we need more research.

The goal in our 25th year is $25 million – enough to create a new centre of collaboration, bringing world-leading scientists and doctors together to help Australian kids with genetic disease.

You can help by speeding up the search for treatments and cures.

Every dollar raised goes directly to the Children’s Medical Research Institute.

Sign up to raise funds and help fight genetic diseases and other conditions in 2018!

You can also help right now by donating, volunteering or supporting friends who have signed up. Find out more at www.jeansforgenes.org.au
