In Australia someone receives the news that they have a blood cancer every forty-one minutes. That is thirty-five people a day. 12,775 on average a year.
Blood cancer will touch all of us at some stage, whether through friends, family or ourselves. Raising money to find research and to support families facing it is important.
“If all it takes to raise money to help out those in my community going through this, is to look a little bit silly with a bald head, it is a very small price to pay”, Brendan Waite said.
